THE SINGULARITY II
ARTIST | Meighan Morrison
Working on the floor using oversized rolls of paper or linen, Meighan Morrison creates abstract compositions that speak to the essential, distilling shapes and colors, balancing opposites, and amplifying simplicity. A native of Chicago, Morrison studied fine art at Boston University and Parsons School of Design. She lives and works in Connecticut.
An experiment in switching gears from the very big to the very small utilizing repetition, as opposed to scale, to create impact. Like a little ode to Andy Warhol and his forever iconic Campbell's soup cans.

WORK ON PAPER
Works on paper utilize the same scanning process as the Synograph, resulting in an immaculately detailed piece with all of the characteristics of the original work. Each piece is presented on premium archival, heavyweight, rag paper.
At General Public we believe each piece of art should be represented as it is created, authentically. We developed a unique water process to create hand finished edges that mimic the effect of a painting that was created on paper. Each piece is finished individually, resulting in unique visual characteristics.
